The API Council is composed of the Bureau and representatives from different national, regional and professional groups.
Each group, consisting of at least seven members, can designate a representative to the Council, provided this representative presents a list of at least seven signatures, or a majority, of the group he or she is called upon to represent. The signatories must be paid-up members of the association.
The Council meets at least once a month upon written invitation of the Secretary General. Absence from Council meetings can lead to the mandate being removed.
