The Lénaic Fund for Quality Journalism
Lénaïc Vaudin d’Imécourt was a talented, much respected and widely loved Brussels-based journalist specialising in international trade. She died tragically young three years ago.
Lénaïc’s parents, Aulde and Charles Vaudin d’Imécourt, along with close friends of Lénaïc, established the fund in her memory. Its aim is to support young female journalists keen to develop their professional understanding of the European Union.
The fund is administered under the auspices of the King Baudouin Foundation, Belgium’s largest charity organisation. This ensures full transparency.
Applicants must be female EU graduates under 28 (the age Lénaïc died), aiming to work in EU journalism in Brussels, able to write in English and have a reasonable knowledge of a second EU language.
